The PixelRF is highly effective on all skin types (Fitzpatrick I-IV) and treatments can be administered year rough with no seasonal restrictions. Unlike dermal rollers or low power bipolar RF applicators that superficially ablate and heat the skin, the PixelRF causes evaporation, mechanical damage and thermal damage deep beneath the epidermis-dermis surfacing. This provides significant dermal impact with minimal epidermal disruption.
The Accent Family platforms now features the Pixel®RF. Using Micro Plasma Technology and In-Motion™ refractive radio frequency, the PixelRF allows you to both ablate and heat skin through a controlled, focused delivery of energy. Healthy skin around the treated area helps to accelerate the healing process thus improving result and reducing patient down. The result is fresh, smooth and radiant skin.
Here's what industry leaders have to say about the
"Another dimension in the fight against aging. PixelRF technology has given us another dimension in the fight against aging. Since fractionated resurfacing with RF technology does not harm the skin's outer layer, the healing time is faster than traditional CO2 lasers. As we noticed during our study The Micro Plasma Technology? creates multiple, controlled microperforations within small zones of thermal injury, similar to the pattern created by many fractionated skin resurfacing lasers. During the procedure, just a small portion of the tissue is ablated. The remaining tissue supplies the healing that leads to the elimination of irregular epidermal pigmentation, tightening of dermal collagen and the smoothing that results from the stimulation of the skin's deeper layers. The fact that patients are experiencing less discomfort and a shorter down-time has made this technology a hit in my practice."

"Skin resurfacing of the face is quick and well tolerated with topical numbing. Initial results have been more impressive than we had been achieving."
Jeffrey A. Hunt, D.O.
Pre Treatment:
Do not tan the areas to be treated for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
All lotions and potions you are using must be discussed and cleared in your consultation prior to treatments. In addition, all medications must be disclosed and discussed.
Pigmented lesions will not be treated.
A topical anesthetic may be used if you are especially sensitive to the treatment.
Treatment area should be free of perfume, makeup, and lotions.
Post treatment:
Days 1-3 or while the skin is still sensitive to the touch- your skin will be red similar to a sunburn, and may appear blotchy as some areas may have been treated more aggressively than others and could be swollen or puffy. Wash with cool water only as needed, apply as much organic almond oil or organic aloe vera as you like to sooth the skin, do not use a moisturizer as it will prevent the skin from flaking and peeling for best results. Apply sunscreen regularly and avoid as much sunlight as possible.
Days 3-7 or once the sensitivity has subsided and skin is flaky: Any redness and blotchy areas will be subsiding and your skin may appear more taut and shiny than usual. You are still healing, so do not stop applying sunscreen and avoiding sunlight to allow the skin to heal properly. You may wash your skin in the morning and at night using cool water and a gentle cleanser such as Vivite Replenish Hydrating Cleanser.
Days 7-10: You may resume using Skin Medica products or products containing Glycolic Acid or bleaching cream. You may also resume using a light exfoliator, such as Vivite Exfoliating Cleanser to remove any "flaky" skin. Once the skin is done flaking you may resume your regular skin care routine. For optimum results, schedule a Diamond Microdermabrasion 2 weeks post treatment.
